Debbie Elam Band
Performed at the North Carolina State Fair October 17, 18, 19

The Debbie Elam Band performed three nights at
the North Carolina State Fair in Raleigh, NC on October 17, 18 , and 19.
Things are going better and better for The Debbie Elam Band. They
are getting ready for the 2004 tour. They have gotten some interest from
European DJs for a European tour, so watch out Europe. You may be getting
invaded by a bunch of fun loving, very entertaining folks from The Carolinas in
the USA.
Go to Inside
Nashville Jukebox to listen to a couple of Debbie's songs. She has a couple
of the "most listened to songs" at The Jukebox".
Web Site: http://www.debe.net
Hello everyone. This is Jerry Mac, founder of
The Country Music Planet & editor of Jerry Mac's News. Every now and then I
go searching through the Internet just to see if I can spot any entertainers
that I have never seen before that may be a little bit better than the norm.
Well! Let me be the one to tell you that I found one when I landed on the web
site of Jenny Mack.
I suggest that you click on the appropriate picture above to watch
this video of her performance that won her 2 awards in March of 2002. She was
named Best Female Vocalist 2002, Age 17-20, from the North American Country
Music Association, International (NACMAI). Jenny's third and latest CD,
"Behind the Blue Eyes," was named Most Promising Album by NACMAI.
I don't know this young lady - never heard of her until I stumbled
across her web site, but I was extremely impressed with her talent and her web
site. evidently she's working with a lot of very good and supportive folks out
on the west coast. I suggest all the readers of this news visit her web
site. You will be glad you did.

CROSS CANADIAN RAGWEED TEARING UP THE ROAD WITH THE BIG DOGS!
Nashville -When Cross Canadian Ragweed
materialized onto the Midwestern music scene some years back, their unique blend
of country rock fell like a sledgehammer upon unsuspecting ears. Their
somewhat
puzzling name quickly became common words on the lips of media and music
enthusiasts alike launching them full force onto a higher platform along side of
rock icons like Lynyrd Skynyrd and ZZ Top. It was a constant uphill jaunt for
the guys after they took their first "touring steps" and it wasn't
long until every venue in the Midwest was on the phone with booking agents
trying to set a date. Though at first it was hard to pin point exactly what it
was that the band was able to create on stage, it came to be known as that
certain "magic" bestowed only upon a certain few. Childhood friends
and music blood brothers, Cody Canada, Grady Cross, Jeremy Plato, and Randy
Ragsdale travel a road rich with creative prosperity, and now they are tearing
it up in even bigger company.
In the few years leading up to the band's signing with Universal
South Records, Ragweed had developed a reputation that thrust them into the
world of "arena," playing in company with musicians such as Willie
Nelson, Kris Kristofferson, Hank Williams Jr., Rodney Crowell, Billy Joe Shaver,
and Lee Ann Womack. Now at the end of 2003, with a ferocious crew of support
behind them, Ragweed has roamed out of the yard to "piss with the big
dogs." Scott Galloway at the William Morris Agency comments on his
experience working with the band.
"It has been a GREAT year. By the end of 2003, CROSS CANADIAN
RAGWEED will
have performed in 2 countries, 33 states, and 120 cities delivering their
one-of-a-kind musical revolution to the die-hards as well as gaining new friends
and legions of fans every step of the way. They have done so much
"damage" on the road this year that the big dogs took notice and they
were invited to tour with Lynyrd Skynyrd, Sammy Hagar, and ZZ Top. They were so
well received and so embraced by the bands themselves, that there is no doubt in
my mind that Cross Canadian Ragweed is the heir apparent to these rock n' roll
icons. They will carry the torch. These guys rock like they'll live forever and
they play every show like it's their last. Cross Canadian Ragweed is the real
deal and I will say the same thing 30 years from now. These guys are SERIOUS.
You can quote me on that."
Cross Canadian Ragweed will appear:
w/ Lynyrd Skynyrd on 10/30 in Little Rock, Arkansas
w/ Lynyrd Skynyrd on 10/31 in Bossier City, Louisiana
w/ ZZ Top on 11/20 in Knoxville, Tennessee
