"Breaking The Ice" For Independent Country Music Entertainers

Read the following carefully, because this explains exactly what we are doing instead of compilations. Why should anyone do compilations anymore, when we have discovered the way for the 21st century? All DJ's that are willing to accept MP3 files as opposed to physical CDs will be able to download your music for free & those that want physical CDs will be referred directly to your email address to request them from you. Most of the DJ's that would be interested in playing your music are now willing to accept them in MP3 format as long as they can, also, download the art work of both the front and back of your CD, so that they can have a physical copy of your CD in their possession. The spot on line for DJ's ONLY is a password protected area that is only viewable by DJs & DJ's must sign up and prove to be DJ's in order to get the music. So there is no need to worry about folks being able to download your songs for free other than DJ's. In other words, the only way the general public can download your files is by paying 99 cents for each song of which you will receive 60 cents. Read on as we attempt to answer whatever questions you may be asking before you ask them. As far as what part of the world the DJ's are from that will possibly be downloading your music and requesting physical CDs from you is concerned, I can only say it will be DJ's from stations located throughout Europe, Australia, New Zealand, and the USA (However, it's very difficult to get cooperation from the real large stations in the USA - most of the USA stations will be those that are in midsize or smaller markets).
   Here is how it works for independent's who want us to list their songs for downloads for 99 cents to the general public & to get their music exposed to DJ's where the DJ's can download the songs for free.
   We will build a one page web site for each artist where we will link to their main web site. This site will include a picture of the artist's CD, something about the CD, and their songs on the CD available for downloads. The visitors will be able to listen to a 30 second clip of each song and be able to download the songs for 99 cents each. The set up cost for us doing this is $200.00 and includes up to 12 songs for downloads (You can pay by Pay Pal or credit card or mail us payment, which ever you chose. You can send us the song files by MP3 as long as they are encoded at least 128 kbps & pictures of your CD front and back in jpg format in the exact size of the CD. Of course, if you prefer, you can mail us the songs in CD format & we can take the pictures from the CD). For each additional song being prepared for downloads there is an additional set up charge of $5.00 for every song over 12. Keep in mind that the web site that is totally dedicated to the 99 cent downloads is www.goodcountrysongs.com . Go take a look and see what we have done. This is brand new, and you can get in on the ground floor. We are in the process of uploading more songs as we speak. After us setting up the 99 cent download site for you, we will send the internet address where you will be able to upload 3 of your songs for no additional cost at a website for DJs, where the DJs can go to and download the songs for free.
