Lisa O'Kane Pops Over The Pond This Month For Mini-Tour

Nashville, TN (May 3, 2005) - Roots Country entertainer Lisa O'Kane has scheduled a "mini-tour" of England this month.

Lisa will be playing more intimate venues on this outing, and hopes to try out some of her newest material prior to her European festival tour in July. "It's a wonderful chance for me to interact more closely with my audience," says the lovely Lisa. "My English fans are so supportive. I'm looking forward to seeing old friends - and to making some new connections."

Jimmie Wilson To Release Debut CD Album

(April 28, 2005) - Jimmie Wilson will release his debut album, What Else Could Go Right, on May 3. The album includes his debut single, “What Else Could Go Right”, a song that takes the ‘what else could go wrong’ frustration and turns it around into what goes right when you’re happy with your surroundings and the moment you’re in; a moment in which you can only explain in an upbeat heartfelt song. “What Else Could Go Right” will be on Mark Trail’s radio comp disc #11, due out in mid-May.

Jimmie Wilson is from the small town of Pine Knot, Kentucky, on the Tennessee border. He briefly attended the University Of Cincinnati, where he studied chemistry, with a minor in music. At 22, Jimmie has been singing professionally for about 5 years. He has performed at various venues, including the Children's Hospital in Jackson, Mississippi, the Hamilton County Fair, the Allen County Fair, the Big Brothers Big Sisters Foundation, and many more. He names George Strait, Alan Jackson, Tracy Lawrence, and Martina McBride as influences.

Jimmie Wilson, being a young country artist, has taken a different approach to the style of his career. Jimmie has a soft spot for children's foundations nationwide. Having survived the irregularities of child birth, Jimmie understands the medical difficulties which can arise from the birth of a child. He is very involved with the Make a Wish Foundation and the Children’s Hospital of Jackson.

Jimmie Wilson brings hard work and dedication to the art of creating music. "It's not every day you get to change how a person feels in three minutes from a song," says Jimmie. He strives to keep fans standing throughout his entire show. With his seven piece band, Jimmie brings the stage to life as he steadily embarks on a career which is sure to continue.

“What Else Could Go Right” is already being played around the world, from New Zealand to the UK to France. The album will be available for sale at various online stores, including CDBaby.com, AudioStreet.com, and SoundClick.com, as well as regular retail stores.
