Happy Thanksgiving
Publicity
House/Wildfire Tresa Street: I Wish Everyone a Happy Thanksgiving!!!!! I plan on spending the day with family and friends, enjoying loads of food, making toasts and drawing names for Christmas, which our family does each year. I am the chosen one to make my famous dressing and a couple of delicious cheesecake pies, and I will add that the secret ingredients will die with me. :-) But most of all I will spend the day very thankful that I have the privilege to share this day with the ones I love.

The fabulous smells and constant chatter were a staple on holidays in our house. We always had a large turkey dinner at the beautiful 12 foot long solid cherry table that my father made from a tree that grew on our farm! The extraordinary meal was topped off by my mother's wonderful Pumpkin pie and Blueberry pie. She would work many hours getting the dinner prepared and would not let anyone help her. When it was done, however, it was a true feast for the pallet! With her passing away a few years ago, the memories are especially precious. I do the same thing (scary huh) on Thanksgiving, using many of the same recipes. It is a huge affair with plenty to eat for all! One of the few times during the year that the good crystal, china, and silver get used :) The best part is the cold turkey sandwiches after the meal though!!!
