   A native of California, Rick's life began in Oceanside,CA, where he was raised by his parents, Julie and Hubert Robledo, who were avid fans of Country Music. Their love for country music came frome their Texas background, and that influence was carried over to Rick. Rick dedicates his first CD, "Lost in the Shuffle", in their memory.
   Rick has performed with several bands in major cities across the United States and Canada. He was a competitor in team penning and team sorting and then had the pleasure of stepping from horseback to stage with his band.Rick would rodeo during the day and then perform for all the contestants at night. After "Whiskey", his penning horse, passed on Rick settled into pleasure horse riding and still performs at rodeos today.
   Among his many influences are Lefty Frizzell, Merle Haggard, Buck Owens, Marty Robbins, George Jones, Bob Wills, George Strait and Mel Tillis.
   Performing with "The Working Cowboy Band" Rick brings back the great traditional sound of country music so rarely heard on today's radio stations.
