This compilation consists of 25 tracks, the track listings notwithstanding. Three of the tracks are not available on other CD compilations. Of special note, "Eyes are Watching You," is Acuff-Oswald harmony at its best. "Muleskinner Blues" and "Precious Jewel" are alternate tracks not available on other collections. The cover is a "precious jewel" in its own right!

Roy Acuff was "The King Of Country Music." A legend in his own time, Roy held the distinctive honor as the first living musician inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame. After his first regular appearance on the Grand Ole Opry in 1938, he became the Opry's main attraction for years to follow.
